Chelsea legend Bobby Tambling has died on the age of 84.
The striker held Chelsea’s scoring file for 45 years till his complete of 202 targets was surpassed by Frank Lampard in 2013.
Tambling helped Chelsea to win the 1965 League Cup and in addition featured for Crystal Palace. He gained three caps for England, scoring one aim in opposition to France.
Tambling made a goal-scoring debut for the membership at 17 in 1959. He went on to make a complete of 370 appearances for the Blues and performed within the 1967 FA Cup ultimate, which Chelsea misplaced to Tottenham Hotspur.
