Rickey Henderson, a 10-time All-Star and the all-time stolen base chief, died on Friday after a bout with pneumonia, a number of retailers reported. He was 65.
Henderson performed 25 seasons within the main leagues, stealing at the least 100 bases on three events, together with 130 steals in 1982 to interrupt Lou Brock’s modern-day file for a single season. He completed with 1,406 steals to shatter Brock’s all-time mark of 938.
