The Pacific Palisades compound has been actress Hilary Swank’s longtime home.

Hilton & Hyland

Actress and film producer Hilary Swank has listed her Pacific Palisades compound for sale at $10.5 million.

The walled and gated bluff property on L.A.’s Westside takes in ocean vistas.

The Hacienda-style residence has a high-end hotel vibe with outdoor lounges, verandas and en-suite bedrooms with private balconies.

Ceiling beams and colorful Spanish tiles are among original details of the house, which was built in … [+] 1928.

Hilton & Hyland

“This property has the feel and setting of being on a romantic vacation with a classic resort-like feel,” says listing agent Zach Goldsmith of Hilton & Hyland. “From the moment you enter the gates you feel like you stepped out of Los Angeles and into the Biltmore in Santa Barbara.”

Built in 1928, the main house was restored by architect Marc Appleton with attention to detail. Original pavers, colorful Spanish tile risers, wood floors and hand-painted wood beamed ceilings maintain the home’s character. “Secret Prohibition-era compartments are hidden throughout,” Goldsmith says.

There are both indoor and outdoor dining rooms. A pitched beam ceiling tops the step-down family room.

Three additional bedroom suites complete the upper level.

The home’s garden level has a guest suite, a gym, a living room with a wet bar and concession stand, a home theater and a wine cellar that can double as a cigar lounge. The cellar has a padded leather wall and two wine walls.

Wine storage lines two walls in the wine cellar.

The compound, at 439 Pasaeo Miramar, Pacific Palisades, is slightly more than 17 miles from Los Angeles International Airport.

The actress, who won Academy Awards for her leading roles in “Boys Don’t Cry” and “Million Dollar Baby,” has relocated to Colorado.
