Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King stepped out in NYC to rejoice Gayle’s seventieth birthday — and, Oprah gave her longtime pal a surprising shock.
The 2 friends hit up Ci Siamo — a preferred Manhattan restaurant … Oprah in a gold gown underneath an extended white coat and Gayle going with a extra muted black and teal outfit, completely matching her scarf.
The 2 had been joined by Megan Sullivan, common supervisor of the restaurant, who walked into the joint for what Gayle clearly thought was speculated to be a small dinner … although Oprah had an enormous shock to her.
Winfrey posted a clip from the restaurant to her Instagram Saturday … strolling in with a distracted Gayle — when dozens of voices scream out “Surprise.”
Gayle bounces again in whole shock whereas Oprah laughs at her response … explaining within the caption it is exhausting to shock Gayle — and, their group needed to inform a ton of lies to the star.

The digicam flips round to the room … and take a look at the star energy — Tina Knowles, Robert De Niro and lots of extra bold-faced names took the time to rejoice Gayle.

Gayle and Oprah have been mates for many years … first assembly again in 1976 at an area Baltimore TV station when Oprah was an anchor and Gayle acquired a job as a manufacturing assistant.
