Ron Ely — star of the Nineteen Sixties TV present — “Tarzan” has died … this, in accordance with an announcement from his daughter Wednesday.
Ely’s daughter, Kirsten, tells TMZ he handed away at house on the age of 86 peacefully surrounded by household on September twenty ninth … and went on to pay an emotional tribute to him in a prolonged IG put up, remembering him as one of many best males to ever dwell — and, a private idol of hers.
She says her dad at all times introduced a wave of positivity with him wherever he went … saying his life story was certainly one of relentless perseverance to do what was proper, including she’s doing her greatest to stroll in her father’s footsteps.

Kirsten says she’s comforted by the data her father has been reunited along with her mom, Valerie, and her brother Cameron.
Ron began appearing professionally within the late Fifties … however, it wasn’t till 1966 when he obtained his large break — enjoying the titular character on the “Tarzan” TV present throughout 57 episodes from 1966 to 1968.
His different credit embrace … “Wonder Woman,” “The Love Boat,” “L.A. Law,” “Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze,” “The Friend Who Walked the West,” and a number of different ‘Tarzan’ tasks over time. Ely wrote a pair of novels in his later years as properly.
Ely’s life was upended in 2019 when his son, Cameron — reportedly affected by the early levels of CTE — stabbed his mom, Ron’s spouse, to loss of life. Cameron was then shot and killed by Santa Barbra County sheriff’s deputies.
Ron sued the division the next 12 months … claiming the deputies didn’t attempt to render medical support as they need to have after Valerie was stabbed and Cameron was shot.
Ron was 86. He is survived by Kirsten and his different daughter Kaitland.
