The Federal Bureau of Prisons tells TMZ … Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory was transferred Tuesday from FCI Coleman Low in Wildwood to group confinement overseen by the BOP’s Miami Residential Reentry Administration Workplace.
Our sources say Large Meech is now serving his sentence in a midway home.
Large Meech was arrested in 2005, and in 2008 he was sentenced to 30 years in jail after being convicted on fees associated to drug trafficking and cash laundering. Earlier this 12 months a decide shortened his sentence by nearly 3 years.
It is unclear when Large Meech will formally end his sentence … however the huge factor right here is he is not in federal jail.
Brittany Okay. Barnett, lawyer for Large Meech and co-founder of the Buried Alive Mission, tells TMZ … she’s “overjoyed” Flenory is free after almost 20 years behind bars, and that he used his time in jail to deal with his personal private development, and he has the chance now to begin a brand new chapter in his life.
In the meantime, 50 Cent has been the frontrunner in maintaining the BMF story alive … delivering a profitable docuseries and a TV collection — even turning Meech’s son, Lil Meech, right into a legit actor.
Hip Hop has rallied round “BMF” for years … Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Lil Child, Yung Miami and even Eminem have guest-starred within the collection, which now stands at 3 seasons.
It will likely be fascinating to see if Large Meech will get out in time for the upcoming fourth collection, which has already been greenlit.
Keep tuned …
