A gaggle of kayakers who acquired stranded in tough waters in Maryland wanted a helicopter to swoop in and rescue them … and the daring mission is all on video.
Footage exhibits a Maryland State Police Aviation Command helicopter airlifting 4 kayakers to security Sunday after they acquired trapped in a rocky space of the Potomac River.
The chopper lowered a rescue basket right down to the stranded kayakers, then hoisted them again up and took them to security on the river’s shore.
MSPAC says emergency responders from Maryland and Virginia have been unable to rescue the kayakers by boat because of swift shifting water and rocky terrain … however the helicopter rescue crew acquired the job accomplished.
Appears just like the rescue mission went off with no hitch … which is not at all times a given … and MSPAC says the kayakers did NOT require medical consideration
