2:35 PM PT — U.S. Justice of the Peace Choose Jean Rosenbluth ordered Dr. Mark Chavez launched on $50,000 bond Friday. Chavez agreed at a separate administrative listening to earlier this week — not in federal court docket — to give up his California medical license.

Dr. Mark Chavez, one in all two physicians busted within the Perry case, was arraigned Friday afternoon in a federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
He appeared together with his lawyer, and Choose Jean Rosenbluth advised Chavez he may stay free on bond with restrictions, based on the Related Press. Chavez agreed to give up his passport, and to not work as a health care provider.
As we reported … Dr. Chavez has already lower a deal with the feds, agreeing to plead responsible to at least one rely of conspiracy to distribute ketamine.
Friday, Chavez did not enter his responsible plea — which he’ll do with a special choose on a future undetermined date, based on the AP.
He is going through as much as 10 years in jail … and it will likely be fascinating to see how the choose sentences him in mild of the plea deal.
Dr. Chavez is one in all three who took plea offers right here … becoming a member of Matthew’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, and Erik Fleming, who prosecutors say helped dealer the drug offers.
The opposite two charged within the case … Dr. Salvador Plasencia and Jasveen Sangha, AKA “The Ketamine Queen,” appeared in court docket earlier this month and pleaded not responsible.
Dr. Chavez and Dr. Plasencia had their registrations to write down prescriptions pulled after their arrests.
