Police in Burbank say they concluded an investigation into an incident the place an L.A. Metropolis councilman claimed they dumped a homeless man in his yard … and cops say they did not discover any proof of wrongdoing on their finish.
Burbank PD simply launched a press release saying the person from the June incident was NOT homeless, as L.A. Metropolis councilman Paul Krekorian claimed.
As an alternative, police say the person has been renting a room in a home in Sylmar for years, and the man requested the officers for a trip from Burbank to North Hollywood … which is how he ended up on the road outdoors Krekorian’s workplace.
As we reported … surveillance footage from the incident seems to indicate 2 cops escorting a person out from the again of their patrol car, and the man seems to be screaming and/or speaking to himself earlier than getting on the pavement.
The officers go away the man there, get again of their automotive and drive off … and, Krekorian later accused the officers of dropping a homeless man off in his metropolis so they would not need to cope with him of their jurisdiction.
Krekorian referred to as for a full investigation and Burbank PD is now saying their probe is over they usually did not do something mistaken.
Police say they have been cleared by an inside investigation … they usually say the FBI reviewed the case and declined to take any motion in opposition to Burbank PD.
Cops say the man was by no means detained or in police custody, and officers let him out of the automotive as quickly as he requested.
When this occurred again in June, our sources advised us cops obtained a name to answer a unadorned man on a bench, with responding officers offering the person with garments and a trip, per his request.
We reached out to Krekorian … up to now no phrase again.
