50 Cent is getting reward from the Shreveport Chief of Police for pulling off an epic comedy and music pageant that was crime-free… particularly given the backdrop of the Metropolis.
50 hosted Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams, Andrew Schulz, Matt Rice, Invoice Bellamy and different comedians for the 4-day “Humor & Harmony” occasion which started final Thursday. There have been performances by DaBaby, Grasp P, A Boogie, Moneybagg Yo, Muni Lengthy and 50 himself, amongst many others.
Shreveport has had greater than its share of crime issues, so cops have been bracing for any incidents given the massive crowds that confirmed up for the pageant. Ultimately, there wasn’t a single subject, and officers have been past grateful to 50, who helped present safety.
Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith tells TMZ, 50 and his crew have been instrumental in preserving the occasion secure with good planning, assets and masterful execution. The Chief added, “I haven’t seen this type of positive activity downtown since the late ’80s!”
The Chief referred to as 50 after the pageant wrapped to precise his gratitude.
The occasion, which included a celeb basketball sport, a automobile present, a G-Zone which resembled the Vegas Sphere, was all for charity. 100% of the proceeds went to the G-Unity Basis.
