Hamas says its high chief was killed in Iran

TEL AVIV — The Palestinian militant group Hamas stated in a press release that its high chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed within the Iranian capital of Tehran.

Iranian state media are additionally reporting his loss of life. The information comes simply hours after Israel stated it had killed a high commander of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah in an airstrike within the Lebanese capital Beirut, in retaliation for the killing of 12 youngsters in a rocket assault on the Israel-controlled Golan Heights.

Hezbollah denied duty for the rocket assault.

Hamas and Hezbollah are each backed by Iran. Israel has not but formally commented on the studies of Haniyeh’s killing.

It is a creating story and will probably be up to date.
