Teen sensation Olivia Rodrigo leads the charge with her debut single “Drivers License,” which rocked the world throughout 2021. The High School Musical actress and singer claims two spots on the 10-rung tally, as her follow-up smash “Good 4 U” appears at No. 6.
Coming in right behind Rodrigo is hip-hop/pop talent Lil Nas X, who fills the next two spots right behind “Drivers License.” The rapper and singer’s smashes “Call Me By Your Name (Montero)” and “Industry Baby” with Jack Harlow appear at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, proving that he is one of the most popular and talked-about musicians in the world right now.
Rounding out the upper half of the top 10 are country musician Walker Hayes with his breakout single “Fancy Like” and Filipino boy band SB19 with their adored cut “MAPA.” Those tunes settle at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. The rest of the list also features South Korean stars BTS with “Butter” (No. 7), SZA with her solo effort “Good Days” (No. 10), as well as relative newcomers Tesher (“Jalebi Baby,” “No. 8) and Nathan Evans (“Wellerman,” No. 9). Both of those latter tracks went viral, becoming proper hits in the process.
