Victor Willis — the legendary singer for the ultra-popular 1970’s disco band “Village People” — has died.
A social media publish on his Fb, posted by his spouse Karen, says Willis handed away Monday after “a short but aggressive illness.” His precise reason behind loss of life was not revealed.
Willis was the theatrical entrance man for The Village Folks … and he who cowrote the band’s most well-known songs, resembling “Y.M.C.A.,” “Macho Man,” “Go West” and “In The Navy.”
