Two U.S. service members and one U.S. civilian have been killed Saturday after an ambush by an ISIS gunman in central Syria, U.S. Central Command stated. Three different service members have been injured.
The assault, which happened within the metropolis of Palmyra, comes a 12 months after the autumn of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the lifting of U.S. sanctions.
