Actor Mike Smith Charged with Sexual Assault in Canada

Mike Smith — star of the cult basic TV present “Trailer Park Boys” — has been charged with sexual assault … in keeping with studies.
The Canadian Broadcasting Company studies Smith was charged in Halifax earlier this month in relation to an alleged 2017 incident.
Smith has been ordered to not talk with the alleged sufferer or go to their college, office, or residence, the CBC provides.
Trailer Park Boys Inc. launched an announcement which confirmed Smith has stepped away from his function as managing director.
The assertion reads, partially, “We’re conscious of the allegation regarding Mike Smith relationship again to 2017 and take such issues severely. We acknowledge how tough an allegation of this nature is for all concerned. Out of respect for the authorized course of, we won’t remark additional on the case.”
Smith has performed Bubbles — one of many three major characters — on 116 episodes of “Trailer Park Boys,” the mockumentary TV comedy which debuted in 2001 and ran persistently till 2007.
Netflix picked up the present in 2014, resulting in the discharge of 5 extra seasons in addition to a number of made-for-TV films. The present’s thirteenth season was introduced by Smith in January … and it is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.
This is not Smith’s first run-in with the regulation … we broke the story that he was arrested again in 2016 after he allegedly pinned a lady towards a wall. The Los Angeles Metropolis Lawyer finally declined to prosecute, citing inadequate proof.
