1:45 PM PT — The Los Angeles Fireplace Division tells TMZ … they responded to Diane‘s residence at 8:08 AM Saturday morning and an ambulance transported a person to a neighborhood hospital.

Our sources inform us Diane was the one taken away within the ambulance.

Diane Keaton — famed actress, director and producer — has died.

The legendary Hollywood actress who starred in tons of hit films died in California … in keeping with PEOPLE.

Diane’s reason behind demise is unclear.

Her film credit are spectacular … “Something’s Gotta Give,” “First Wives Club,” “Father of the Bride,” “Annie Hall,” “The Godfather,” “Book Club,” “Baby Boom,” “Hanging Up” and on and on.

She turned well-known approach again within the Seventies after showing within the ‘Godfather’ franchise and dealing with director Woody Allen.
