How does the Champions League league part work?
The brand new format, which started within the 2024/25 season, sees groups play eight matches in a league part that has changed the group stage.
Groups now play fixtures in opposition to eight totally different sides – two groups from Pots 1, 2, 3 and 4. Half of the eight league-phase matches are at house, with the opposite half away.
