A pupil from an artwork highschool in Grosseto is about to throw into the water a piece created to supply octopuses a house as a substitute for unlawful fishing traps.

Mermaids, giants and large eyes lookup from the waters close to Talamone, Italy. It is one fisherman’s method of defending fishing grounds from the harm of trawling nets. Artists’ sculptures are sunk to the underside of the Mediterranean sea together with concrete blocks to interrupt the nets of the trawlers that devastate marine life.
