11 stabbed in random assault

Eleven folks had been stabbed over the weekend at a Walmart in Michigan, in what authorities are calling a random and unprovoked assault.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Workplace stated a 42-year-old man entered the shop round 4:45 PM and used a folding knife to stab 11 folks earlier than being taken into custody. A sheriff’s deputy arrived inside minutes, with assist from bystanders in subduing the suspect and aiding the victims.

Munson Healthcare confirmed all 11 victims had been being handled at its regional hospital. Six had been listed in important situation, and 5 had been in critical situation. The Sheriff stated the suspect is believed to be a Michigan resident. The weapon used gave the impression to be a folding knife.
The FBI is helping within the investigation. Walmart stated in an announcement, “Violence like this is unacceptable. Our thoughts are with those who were injured, and we’re thankful for the swift action of law enforcement and emergency personnel.”
The investigation is ongoing.
