Scary scene at Thursday’s Tampa Bay Rays recreation … certainly one of their pitchers, Hunter Bigge, took a line drive foul ball to the face whereas he was within the dugout — resulting in him being carted off the sector.

Throughout his postgame press convention, Rays supervisor Kevin Money mentioned Bigge was coherent and speaking to the doctor — and that he could be monitored because the night time progressed.
“You feel for Hunter and his wife,” Money mentioned. “I can’t imagine what she and he were going through right there. It was scary for everybody, none more than them.”
Because the saying goes, the sport should go on … and that is precisely what occurred (although everybody’s ideas had been with HB). The Orioles received the sport 4-1 in opposition to their AL East rivals.
