After greater than 30 years of uncertainty, Mariska Hargitay has revealed her organic father is just not Mickey Hargitay, the person who raised her, however a well-known Italian singer and comic.
In a brand new interview with Self-importance Honest and in her documentary, “My Mom Jayne,” the ‘Legislation and Order’ star confirms her organic father is Italian singer and comic Nelson Sardelli.
She shared that her mother, Jayne Mansfield, had a short relationship with Sardelli after separating from Mickey. Mansfield later reconciled with Mickey earlier than Mariska was born, and he raised her as his daughter.
Hargitay says she found the reality in her 20s after seeing a photograph of Sardelli and noticing a robust resemblance. When she introduced it as much as Mickey, he insisted he was her organic father. She says the subject was by no means mentioned once more earlier than Mickey died in 2006.
