Issues turned lethal this weekend at a practice station in India … with 18 folks shedding their lives and droves of others injured following a stampede.
In keeping with the Press Belief of India, a stampede at a New Delhi practice station resulted in 18 deaths, 14 of whom had been girls. The youngest sufferer was reportedly solely 7 years previous.
It was a horrifying scene … folks swarming the practice automobile on two platforms the place passengers had been ready to board the trains.
Authorities say the incident started when a number of passengers misplaced their footing and tumbled onto others whereas descending from the footbridge connecting the practice platforms.
The nation’s Prime Minister stated he’s “distressed by the stampede.”
An investigation has been ordered to find out what led to the stampede.
